The Career Connections Job Fair 2018 will be held on Apr. 18 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Danville Area Community College Mary Miller Gymnasium.

The public is invited to meet area employers who are recruiting for part-time and full-time positions.

Last year more than 50 employers with job openings attended.

Learn about the local job market and the responsibilities and requirements needed in various positions. Participants should dress for an interview and bring several copies of their resume.

Business attire must be worn; hoodies, sweats, ripped jeans, flip flops are not allowed. No children are allowed.

In order to assist participants to be the best candidates for potential employers at the Job Fair, the Career Services Center staff will offer a Pre-Job Fair Workshop on Saturday,  Apr. 7 from 9-11 am in Vermilion Hall room 306.

The Do’s and Don’ts of First Impressions.

Brush up on Interviewing Skills.

Learn how to make a lasting impression.

Students, alumni, and community members are welcome to attend this free workshop.
