Westville High School wrestlers sign for Hannibal-LaGrange

Mason McBride and Calem McElwee-Wise have signed letters of intent to wrestle at Hannibal-LaGrange University in Hannibal, Missouri.

McBride went 36-10 in this past season in the 120 pound weight class.

He advanced to the first round of the state championship meet in the State Farm Center in Champaign, and was selected to the News-Gazette All-Area Second Team.

Mason is the son of Sean and Susan McBride.

McElwee-Wise had a record of 21 wins and 4 losses at 126 pounds this past season. He was a two-year captain for the Tigers. 

Calem is the son of Sheila McElwee and Carl Wise.

Hannibal-Lagrange is a Division I National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) school and a member of the American Midwest Conference.

The Westville Wrestling team is coached by Jeff Rieck.
