Woodlawn Cemetery seeks donations

Woodlawn Cemetery of Indianola is seeking donations for two projects.

Due to some night time traffic and the dumping of used tires, the board would like to install surviellence cameras at the entrances to the cemetery.

The cemetery is hopeful, the presence of cameras will help deter these unwanted activities.

The cemetery also began an improvement and landscaping project last summer.

A new sign was erected and the rules board and veterans memorial were enhanced.

Trees were planted along the main drive.

A second phase will include improvements to the garage, outhouse, well area and west entrance.

Donations to help support either of these two projects may be sent to Woodlawn Cemetery, 120 Wild Rose Ave., Indianola, IL 61850.

Please designate which project the donation is for.
