Senior luncheon and bingo at CRIS

Faith in Action of Presence United Samaritans Medical Center, along with Health Alliance Medicare and CRIS Healthy Aging Center are hosting a luncheon for area seniors, featuring information on coping with grief

during the holidays. This special educational event will be on Wednesday, December 13th beginning at 11 a.m. at the CRIS Healthy Aging Center, 309 North Franklin,


The meeting will feature a free healthy lunch offering the following:  Roast Turkey, potatoes, green beans, bread, and pie.  During lunch, Jessica Nemecz, LCPC and co-owner of Two Roads Wellness Clinic located on Winter Ave., will be presenting on grief, and how to cope with it during the holidays.

The luncheon will also include CRIS's famous Bungo, with $10 grocery gift cards as prizes.  There will be other free giveaways and helpful educational handouts. Seniors will have the opportunity to gain knowledge, encouragement, and enjoy a fun afternoon.

This event is free to all area seniors. Seating is limited and reservations are required to attend this special event.  Call CRIS for reservations at (217) 443-2999 by 10 a.m. on December 8th.
