Myers Dinner Theatre spring production

Myers Dinner Theatre is rocking and rolling the spring in with their next production, All Shook Up, opening May 12 and running through June 3.

Love and life terrorize a sleepy small town when rovin’ roundabout Chad rolls in with a broken-down motorbike. Natalie, the town mechanic, instantly falls in love with the stranger, much to the disappointment of her best friend, Dennis, who is madly in love with her. Natalie’s father and Chad both meet and fall for the new museum owner, Sandra, causing a point of contention between them. And Sylvia, the bar owner, discovers that her daughter, Lorraine, is having a secret romance with Dean, the son of the town’s haughty, music-hating Mayor Matilda. Meanwhile, Natalie decides that, in order to win Chad’s love, she must disguise herself and convince him to befriend her first. Comedy, hijinks, and mistaken identity abound in this hilarious take on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley.

The show is directed and choreographed by MDT casting director, Gray Lynn, with musical direction by Ralph Krumins. Co-choreographer and production assistant is Lafayette theater favorite Kate Walker.
