Catlin Public Library invites cardholders to update information

Catlin Township residents are invited to stop by the Catlin Public Library and update their library card information during National Library Week, April 8-14.

Residents who do not have a card may apply for one by completing a brief membership application.

They should also bring in two pieces of mail and their driver’s license, or Illinois State ID, showing their current Catlin Township address.

Everyone who updates their card or applies for a new card may enter in a drawing for prizes.

The Catlin Public Library offers free use of books, audiobooks, magazines and movies for adults and children.  There are eight public computers on site for anyone to use at no cost and free WiFi is available.

The library card can also be used at other Illinois libraries which are a part of the Illinois Heartland system including Danville, Oakwood, Westville and many more.

The Catlin Public Library is located at 101 Mapleleaf Drive in Catlin, IL and the phone number is 427-2550.
