Village of Oakwood sponsoring program on cyber scams

The Village of Oakwood will be sponsoring a program meant to educate the public on how to be “Scam Smart.”

The program will take place on March 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Oakwood Emergency Rescue Building at 102 Lake Bluff Dr. in Oakwood.

The program will include speakers: Police Chief,  Derek Weston; Brenda Wright of First Farmers Bank; and Richard Woodard of Woodard Computing Services.

They will have a question and answer period at the end of the session.
