Activity Director

Champaign County Nur-sing Home is recruiting for an Activity Director to lead our outstanding lifestyle enrichment programs, volunteerism, and beauty shop. The major duties of this job involve connecting with people frequently in a warm and enthusiastic way. The job will entail working at a fairly fast pace while working cooperatively with and through people in order to complete tasks. The job will involve team and collaborative work within our organization and will be integral in bringing out the best in others. This position will involve motivating others to do what needs to be done to achieve the organization's goals. Our ideal candidate will have experience leading recreational programs in long-term care facilities of 150-beds or more, be a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or has completed of the 36-hour Activity Director's Course.
