North Vermillion golf team competes in IHSAA Golf Sectionals

The North Vermillion golf team competed in the IHSAA golf sectional on June 6 at Crawfordsville Municipal Golf Course.  
    Will Martin led the Falcons shooting a 71 on 18 holes, earning 1st place Individual Score honors, and 2nd place Low Medalist overall.   The Low Medalist was Luke Brotherton of Greencastle with a 70.  


North Vermillion golf team competes in Wabash River Conference

The North Vermillion High School golf team competed in the Wabash River Conference match at Turkey Run Golf Course on June 3.  
    Two individuals qualified for the all-conference team, consisting of the top 8 players in the WRC.  Leading NV was Will Martin, who finished in 3rd place, shooting a 75.  There was a tie for co-medalist, at 74.  


Westville Youth Football sign-ups

Westville Youth Football, Cheer/Dance signups will be held at Zamberletti Park July 20, from 12 - 4 p.m., July 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and August 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.


Buffalo Stampede 5K Run/Walk to be held October 26

The Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman High School and Mary Miller Jr. High baseball teams are hosting a Buffalo Stampede 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 26.     
    The event will begin at 8 a.m. at Pine Crest Elementary School, Kennedy Drive in Georgetown, IL.


Noth Vermillion Youth Football League in 10th season

The North Vermillion Youth Football League is currently in its 10th season and is run by JR and Deena Martin. The Falcons compete on Saturday afternoons and are members of the Wabash Valley Youth Football League, competing against Covington, Riverton Parke, Attica, Seeger, South Vermillion, and Danville (IL).


Falcons enjoy huge Homecoming victory against Riverton Parke Panthers

The North Vermillion Falcons upset the Riverton Parke Panthers with a score of 79-0 to win the Falcon’s Homecoming.


Buffaloes post huge victory - OAP Comets struggle to get in win column

The Georgetown-Ridgefarm-Chrisman Buffaloes posted a huge victory September 13,  dumping Hoopeston Area 54-0.

Big fourth quarter lifts Storm over Tigers

    Trailing 29-19 in the fourth quarter, Salt Fork pushed into high gear to help the Storm dump Westville 42-29 in the September 13 game.
     In the first quarter, the Storm got on the scoreboard first. Around the seven minute mark, Quarterback Jacob Hughes drilled Garrett McFadden with a 69 yard TD toss to go


Falcons post huge victory

The #2 ranked North Vermillion Falcons dropped the #7 ranked North Central 37-7 September 13.
    Brayden Woodard led the North Vermillion Falcons with 17 carries for 135 yards and scored three touchdowns, while teammate, Jacob Earl, added 14 carries for 102 yards, and scored two touchdowns. The Falcons improve to 4-0 overall.
